I was very relieved to see the Pokes put together a complete game last weekend. D was lights out, O was balanced, Special Teams are finally looking special. SO, should we be concerned about pass D moving forward? Fresno State and Utah State have been racking it up through the air, but average on the ground. I think many were counting on the secondary being strong this year, and they definitely took a big step forward on Saturday (c'mon - two Pick Sixes!). I'm sure they'll continue to make strides as we get into the MWC schedule but looking ahead this will be a crucial area to get even better in moving forward. It all starts up front with pressure, good technique, coverage and tackling. Not trying to be Captain Obvious here, but I'm more confident of taking on the Air Farce ground game at this point than I am of these teams passing games. GO POKES!!
