ming's offensive line received a boost this weekend as Kingfisher (Okla.) center Kaden Jackson decided to become a Wyoming Cowboy. Jackson said he committed to Wyoming on Sunday.

Jackson sent a text to GoWyoGo.com announcing his commitment to Wyoming before posting a status update to Twitter which read, "I am proud to say I have verbally committed to the University of Wyoming."

The 6-foot-2, 265-pound lineman is ranked as a two-star recruit by Rivals.com. Jackson holds scholarship offers from UTEP, Wyoming, Sam Houston St., Ohio, North Texas and Wyoming.

After visiting Wyoming in early September, Jackson pared his list down to Wyoming and North Texas. He also had interest from Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, and Kansas State.

Jackson said that he was looking for a program which was somewhat close to home and one that offered him the opportunity to win. Jackson's Kingfisher High School won a state title last season after being the state runner-up the year before.

Jackson had visited Wyoming back in the first week of September and said he came way impressed with the overall situation at UW with facilities, surroundings, and the coaching staff. He is a good fit for the Cowboy culture.

"It was awesome," Jackson said. "I had a great time! Not one bad thing I have to say about Wyoming. They said they would love to have me on the team. I'm one of the top players on the board."
