Background - an official made a call that didn't go the Cowgirls way and the crowd let the official have it. The official went to the scorer's table to report the foul as they do. The replay was happening right about that time and of course the crowd let the official have it again. As he was walking away from the table, he quickly turned back to a couple of guys sitting there, loudly asking "who said that".
He proceeded to confront the two guys, then turned his focus to one of them. He then made the ejection sign, as if throwing him out of the game.
Ultimately the guy never left and the official walked away.
The latter part of this happened during the freethow and the official was fretting about this guy at the scorers table instead of watching and officiating the game. While the official was walking away and past the Cowgirls bench, Gerald was holding out both hands, like asking the official to calm down. After the game the official was still complaining about this guy and whatever it was that he said. He was walking off the floor talking to the scorer table official.
I have no idea what was said, or what the official thought he heard. I'm guessing there was or will be some report about this incident. By the official? By the UWAD?
