He averaged 4.7 blocks a game to give him 159 for the year. Hit 56 of 126 treys for a 44.4% average. He averaged 22.5 points a game for a 58 % fg average. He shot 75.8 % from the free throw line going 138 of 182. He only had 56 turnovers all year. He also averaged 11.8 rebounds per game. He had 275 defensive rebounds and 127 offensive rebounds this year and only fouled out from 4 games all year. He is listed at 6'10" and is said to have a 42" vertical.
His running mate, also from Québec Canada ,is Desilien, who averages 21.5 ppg. This is second hand information, but they claim UW has not contacted either. But PAC 12 and Big 12 schools are very interested. These Powell guys say Shyatt has been told about them and is not interested. Seems to me at least Boucher is the real deal in our own backyard. Supposedly we don't have any scholarships available, but I would try and figure out how to make it happen. We could really use a guy like this. These guys went to nationals and held their own against some of the best in NJCAA. They won their first game, lost their second game by two, and lost their third game by three. Both teams they lost to are in the final four. 6'10" kid with a 42" vertical that can block, score, hit three's, rebound, and make their free throws going to a team with only one senior. Makes sense to me if we want to reload and not just rebuild. This kid would be fairly proven, unlike some of the bigs we have had come through and flopped. Plus he doesn't sound like a project type player. Just wishful thinking on my part.
