To be honest with Bohl as the HC, I am not expecting that different of an approach from the Vigen era but a Poke fan can dream.

I would like to see more personal groupings and formations that maximize our best players. For instance, I would love to see Chambers running more of a pitch option with a two back set of Validay and Swen or Smith. I would love to see more screens and fake screens utilizing our quickest players. Maybe some passes to a tightend. Really get risky and throw on 1st and 2nd down, I mean really get gutsy out there. I am being a little facetious but I would love to see a more evolved offense . Neyer HAS TO have 40 catches this season. Is that asking too much? For a receiver to average 4 catches a game? I am not saying that we have to run the Hal Mumme offense for crying out loud. We can still be a run based conservative team but do it from more looks and stay out of the obvious Vigen play calling rut. I would like to emulate Boise's offense. They are fairly balanced and run a lot of different looks and groupings that always keeps an opponent guessing.

But back to the best players. I say that about Chambers running the option and yet I realize that he is too important to run very often and sadly that is his best attribute. I really dont know how to handle him. I guess you are just going to have to cross your fingers and pray he doesn't get hurt because I think he will have to run the ball to be effective. I also think we have to be better about distributing the ball to other players and not running the wheels off of X. Neyer has the potential to be the best receiver since Tanner Gentry if not Jovon Bouknight. BUT YOU HAVE TO GET THEM THE BALL.
