Yes, I'm yelling. The disaster that is college basketball officiating is ruining the game I was knew and loved. Last night was exhibit 1 for the problems in college basketball. I watched both teams get mugged, grabbed, elbowed, tripped, hacked with no call made. I watched the refs stop the game for 5 minutes while that conversed at the scorers table watching the monitor to determine an easy foul call and essentially iced LNJ at the free throw line. I watched players drive down the lane and raked across the arm for a no call or watch a defensive player trying to make a play get called for barely touching the offensive player. I watched Adams dribble the ball while Fresno State played whack-a-mole on him. I watched Adams do his best wrestling impression and throw a Fresno State player to the ground which no consequences other than a double T. I saw Guerrero commit some many thug fouls and demonstrate once again the poorest of sportsmanship and behavior that his coached benched for most of the second half, Yet, nothing from the refs. I watched the Fresno State player attempt a put back duck and hung on the rim while the ball fell through the basketball yet nothing from the refs. (I was into a some whiskey by then and I could be wrong on this one). Every time LNJ caught the ball he got a beat on by Fresno. It's no wonder that scoring is so low in college basketball these days.
