Ok, this is easy. I love finishing the year this way. I was first a student at UW in 1984, and I have lived the downs, ups, sideways, ups, downs, way downs, ups, sideways, then ups again for a long time. As I said to the wife today, I will always be a cowboy, for all that means.
Now, this off season, I can feel great again. 8 wins is more than I planned for in my dark moments (I won't tell you about my wild hopeful moments) and it means I resolve to watch these highlights when I need an up in the coming months.
We need things, I pray for the god of receivers to visit us this offseason, but all in all I cannot feel down this New Years Eve.
It is great to be a Cowboy.
