Recently UW announced the 7220 club.......what is this money going to be used for?
I have not heard one thing about how all of this money was going to be used to keep us competitive.......
Let me see, we are losing Fresno State, SDSU, CSU and Boise State and our inspired leadership has brought in UTEP and UCDavis......I can't even say, one step forward and two back, this at least us taking 4++++ steps back!
Will the money be used to improve the non-conference opponents? Haven't heard a thing....but from all indicators, we will be losing Boise State and CSU as well as SDSU and Fresno State in basketball for good, but wow we will have the mighty UC Davis team coming in, that will get the fan base really stirred up, and fill the AA..............if we play any of the four teams that are leaving, knowing how well Tom negotiates, if we get them on any schedule going forward, it will always be on their home court or field!
Oh wait a second, I bet some of the money will be used to pay a bloated salary for our AD who has been ineffective and incompetent for 17 years while watching our athletic fortunes going backwards!
I want to support UW, but there is absolutely no positive news coming out of Laramie and hasn't been in quite a while.
