Did anyone see where Mike Daum, a 6-9, 230-pound redshirt freshman forward at South Dakota State, was the Sun Belt Tournament MVP after leading the Jackrabbits to the championship?
He's the son of UW Hall of Famer Michelle Hoppes and former UW football player Mitch Daum.
Mike would of come to UW in a heartbreat but the Cowboys didn't recruit him. Don't remember the particulars on why not, but he would have been huge for this team this year. On the year, he averaged almost almost 16 points and over 6.0 rebounds per game.
