I’m hoping that Santa brought Linder good health for the team, good ball motion and aggressive rebounding for the rest of the season.
For Bohl, I hope he brought a book on how to not just use coach speak, but to just be real with the fans and media
For Vigen, a copy of “Football Passing Game for Dummies” or at least the chapter on screen passing.
For the D-Line, I hope he brought a book on making good off field choices. Or maybe a stack of Monopoly “get out of jail free” cards
For Nick Sabin, I have it in good authority that he already delivered 579,000 new Bama fans during the Iron Bowl.
For Tom Burman, I hope Santa brought some additional deep pockets to help with all the extra scholarships we may want or need to offer with the NCAA’s extra year.
For all the players taking advantage of that extra year, I hope Santa brings a masters degree or completion of an otherwise unfinished bachelors
For CSU, I hope the jolly red elf put a lump of coal and some bronze shining paste in their stocking so they can return the boot to us next year sheep dip and manure free and sparkling like it was when they borrowed it from us.
For Craig Thompson, I truly hope Santa delivered retirement papers that just need his signature.
That leads to my wish for the Mountain West Conference, that Santa brought the Presidents the wisdom to install new leadership that will improve the conference and not drag it down like an anchor.
And finally, for Wyoming fans everywhere, I hope that Santa brings a year of unprecedented success, in our personal, professional and fan lives. And that our fandom is rewarded with many championships in the year 2021.
