It's amazing to me that we don't have a provision in the media rights deal protecting schools from bad kick off times if the games aren't on the first tier networks.
I could see kicking off at 7:45 to be on FS1. For context, FS2 is available in about 30 million FEWER homes than FS1. Average FS2 viewership each night is about 16,000 homes.
For that, we kick off the Homecoming game at almost 8pm instead of on a perfect fall afternoon.
