Here are the season totals for the players CBS kept shoving down everyone’s throat as a “big” impediment to AFA:
Zac Larrier RB had 6 rushes for 60 yards vs CU. He did not play against UNI or Wyoming. CU has the 131st ranked rush defense out of 131 teams. They are simply a really bad rush defense. “Dynamic”
Deandre Hughes WR had 7 rushes for 20 yards in 2 games versus UNI and CU.
Dane Kinamon WR had 5 rushes for 98 yards in 2 games versus UNI and CU. “Dynamic”
Eian Castonguay CB had 1 tackle, 1 assist and 1 pass breakup in 2 games versus UNI and CU.
Jayden Theirgood DE had 1 tackle for -2 yards against UNI
Also - before we get too giddy about beating AFA let’s remember that the nice lady sideline reporter described the week of AFA game preparation as being “significantly” disrupted due to 47 players having a non Covid virus. To further embellish the dire situation AFA was in it was noted that two players of the 5 were especially “Dynamic”.
No one at CBS has heard of DQ James, Joe Brassch, Frank Crumm, Sebastian Harsh or Gunner Gentry. And none of those players are potentially “Dynamic” contributors to the Wyoming program.
