currently being interviewed on the radio (KFBC Sports Zone). I pretty good interview. Jay is certainly articulate. Says we're not going to see much of a change in philosophy. He acknowledges that kids have been recruited to fit the existing philosophy. He seems humble acknowledging that he needs to continues to learn. He wanted to come to UW because of Bohl and what we have developed on defense. Says he probably missed being away from the kids as much as anything.
Says he appreciates the talent on the team. He noted that oftentimes a new coach comes in and has a hole or two that they need to address. Says he impressed with the talent and the depth at all positions. He noted that he's gotten to know the other asst coaches and is happy where everything is. He thinks the Pokes D is ahead of schedule from where he thought it might be at this time.
Jay seems to be a good leader and motivator.
