Wisconsin athlete Javaree Jackson says he is set to visit the University of Wyoming in early December and has high hopes for what he will see when he arrives in Laramie.
“I want to see a nice environment and nice people,” Jackson told GoWyoGo.com on Tuesday. “I really want to go to Wyoming.”
And by the sounds of things Wyoming really wants him to come to Laramie as well. Jackson is a 6-foot-5, 260-pound defensive end/tight end prospect from Wauwatosa West in Wauwatosa Wisconsin.
Jackson holds a scholarship to Wyoming and is also talking to UW-OshKosh, North Dakota State, Western Illinois and others. He has already visited North Dakota State.
He is planning to visit Laramie the weekend of Dec. 2 and he said the conversation between himself and the Wyoming coaching staff remains strong.
“I just want to see if any of the schools have what I want to major in which is sports management,” he said regarding his visits. “It really doesn't matter how far away from home I am.”
He said the next step for him is to take his visit to Laramie and see what he thinks of the campus before making a decision.
