...even when Levi Williams was shaky throwing the ball, he was better than Chambers on any day. Arm strength is better, and experience is only thing lacking,which I think can be overcome in 4-5 games if not sooner. Levi Williams put energy into a predictable Poke offense that struggled to to score big points this season, providing a nice balance that for the first time in a couple of years let Poke fans see what a passing game could look like again under Craig Bohl.
Going into the game, you couldn't blame anybody for thinking the Pokes would run Valladay to death and let Williams stay safe with short passes until he got comfortable. Georgia State's game plan obviously was to contain the run, which probably enabled Williams the luxury of letting it fly but It was uncanny to see the Poke offense look to the pass in order to score points. Give Vigen/Bohl credit: They didn't stubbornly stay with the run, and saw like anybody else watching that LW was effective with the pass. We even threw to the running back.....
It was only until the 2nd half that the passing game truly set up the run, which was when X-Factor went off.
Predictably, major media is losing their $hit over the kid...
