MWC does a conference only schedule- every MWC team plays every other MWC team making an 11 game schedule. Then Notre Dame plays everyone giving all 12 conference schools a 12th game. To make it more attractive, maybe all 12 MWC teams play at Notre Dame but pays MW teams a certain amount (say $1M) so ND has 12 home games and each MW teams gets a big payout.
