Unfortunately, I don't see any lines on the public sites for action on Saturday. Too bad, because I would back up the truck on the Pokes again this week - just as some of us did last week.
Some of our big chunk pass plays against Tulsa came as a result of blown coverages. Some of that may be a function of play design and execution, but some was also likely due to Tulsa playing its first game of the year. From what I've read, UNC's defense last week against Houston Baptist was an abomination. They may improve, but given all the flux in that program I bet they don't take a huge leap forward.
Wyoming played tough and deserves credit for it, but fans and bettors should also remember that just getting into overtime required some SERIOUS Tulsa miscues. I don't think we can count on blocked punts, fumble recoveries and missed field goals to keep games close as we get into the meat of the schedule. Luckily, MW play doesn't start this week.
I don't see UNC being very competitive. They have something like 40 new faces on their team, and Wyoming should have plenty of confidence after last week. I would take Wyoming anywhere up to -14.5.
