As Nance goes, so go the Pokes. If Larry can't play a game for any reason, mild or serious; it is going to pretty difficult to get a win. Nance brings everything to this team. He is the absolute leader and brings too many intangibles to quantify. Even if he is struggling in scoring or some other aspect, he totally changes the way the other team has to play. Without him yesterday, the team looked a bit like chickens running with their heads cut off. With Larry on the floor, they are a well oiled machine. He is the linchpin.
We can come up with all of the sports cliches that we want; "next man up," "champions find a way," blah,, blah blah, yadda, yadda, yadda, but unless Nance is at least out on the floor, we probably aren't going to win and we probably won't get too far post season.
