It's not all doom and gloom. If you ask me, TVW has been very good for a redshirt freshman. Everything he throws is a heater for the most part, but yesterday I did see him throw a couple more touch balls. And in each of the last two games he has thrown perfect deeper balls that should have been caught. His receivers aren't doing him many favors.
We're all jaded because we just watched the best natural quarterback that has ever - or will ever - play here and so anyone who follows him will suffer in comparison. But as a redshirt freshman I think he compares well to Carta-Samuels and Brett Smith. Maybe not better in all facets of the game, but he's at least in the conversation.
If Bohl can keep him from transferring he could be a good one in a few years.
