Wall Street Journals annual ranking of the value of teams if they were to be a public sold franchise has teh Cowboys ranked 95th, which in the MWC isn't as bad as it may initially seem. Cowboys were up 16.6 percent from a year ago, second in the MWC to Utah State, which ranked 1001st overall.
