For those that are my age, James was part of the renaissance that was Cowboy football. He was a JUCO recruit along with Anthony Sargent and the other name escapes me, brought in by Dennis Erickson to bring us out of the dark ages of the wishbone offense to the spread passing game. That 6-6 Erickson team paved the way for the Roach/Tiller years. My how we effed that up.
