OK, After two games and non-stop slicing and dicing of the ills of the football program we know the following:
1. They're too small.
2. They're too young.
3. They're too slow.
3. We don't have enough money.
4. We're not sure FCS coaches can transition to FBS.
5. It sucks being a Wyoming football fan.
6. Blah, blah, blah...
Like a lot of you, I am sick and tired of losing football games. Especially games that Wyoming has no business losing. But, I've resigned myself that the losing isn't likely to stop any time soon. News flash: the Washington State Cougars are likely to smoke the Pokes this Saturday. So why get all knotted up if you know it's coming?
Instead, I'm going to concentrate on supporting these kids and look for improvements. I want to see if Bohl and his staff can keep this team moving forward and progressing. As a fan I want to see how these kids handle adversity. I've got their back.
So, since we know all these things, what's the point of beating the dead horse next week? Let's try to find the silver lining and support these guys. Our team.
I don't want these guys to quit and as a life-long Wyoming fan I'm not quitting on them.
