You have offered so much insight into the disgruntled players and the looming mass exodus of players because of their problems with the coaches.
I find the Austin Fort decision interesting. He's a great young man, and have enjoyed talking with him over the years. He was frustrated about the move to tight end and at the end of fall practice decided to go elsewhere so hr could pursue his dream of playing quarterback.
I could understand. We all have preferences.
It apparently didn't work out the way he had hoped and he is returning this semester as a walk-on at tight end, which was where the coaching staff wanted him to move.
I am not saying Austin did anything wrong or made a mistake.
What I am saying, though, is this is an apparent example of a young man who left for reasons of his own, and when he decided it wasn't going to work out, he was comfortable enough with this coaching staff to return as a walk on and resume his Division I career. I don't think if everything was bleak and dark with the coaching staff Austin would make the return.
