A.J. Banks hit a running 3 pointer at the buzzer to bring the Pokes to within 5. It has been fairly close for most of the first half. Utah Valley went up by 8 or so and then the Pokes came back and then right before the half Utah Valley went back up by 8 before A.J. Banks hit his shot.
Both teams are shooting poorly. Maldonado is being well defended and is almost non existent. Hunter Thompson scored the first 8 points for the Pokes....so Edwards took him out.
