The Pokes really evolved over the the last 6 weeks. Look like they belonged with top half of the league at end of season through tournament. When I watch them in Nov. versus Fullerton, Oregon State, South Carolina, CU, TCU, and Air Force/UNM, plus UNC and Utah Valley, they were bad.
The Cowboys made measurable improvement throughout the season. Need to keep this core frosh/soph in place and add some viable pieces. If so, little doubt in my mind, next season can potentially a big jump in win column. Hope the right decision is made.
Don’t envy Burman right now. He has a lot on his plate. At least, he doesn’t have to manage Bohl’s program. I think it helps he has a seasoned coach navigating football since I believe in the direction of UW football.
