Based on a 12 game (8 MWC) schedule 6 home and 6 road the averages say that in completing our open dates the schedule will include:
FCS - 5 (all home)
G5 - 4 (3 home 1 road)
P5 - 3 (all road)
There is always the possibility that we have a 7 game home schedule.
There is always the possibility that we get a home and home with a P5.
There is always the possibility that we play a 7 game road schedule.
With 2021 the only year with an open date until 2025, there is no particular urgency to ink 2025-2029 deals imminently. 2021 is in need of a P5 team with only Tennessee having an open date matching our open date in September. Boston College, TCU and Maryland do not have 12 games schedules in 2021 and would require playing a game other than in September unless they or Wyoming can move a game to another date.
