with the women's basketball team? There is something inherently flawed with this team. On paper they should be better than what they are. This program has seemed to have plateaued. Legerski is in his 11th year and still has not produced a conference title or tournament title despite the best teams (BYU, Utah, and TCU) leaving the conference and SDSU crashing down to earth after firing Beth Burns. The WNIT championship in 2006-07 season and NCAA tournament game in 2007-08 seem like a long time ago and was never really capitalized on. The Cowgirls continually get beat by any team that is more athletic regardless of whether that team is an overall better team. Legerski has seemed to have never fixed that in his recruiting philosophy.

As has been mentioned many times on this board is the athletic department okay with accepting mediocrity and the status quo of winning 18-20 games a year with a WNIT bid every other yearh with team made up of 4-5 Wyoming kids. Or should more be demanded? If you are Burman do clean house and get rid of your most successful coach who is also a Wyoming native and University alumni who runs a good, clean program? Do you demand that Legerski brings in a new staff which would mean firing his best friend? Do you maintain status quo knowing what your are going to get every year? Burman's job is not easy.
