Otherwise, Cowboys got their asses kicked by a very tough Nebraska squad. Not complaining about Branch-great coach by all accounts and we are fortunate to have him-but based on his initial success I thought the program stood a good chance of taking another step forward (consistent top 15, yearly AAs)....much like former conference foe Northern Iowa. I have not seen the new wrestling facilities but felt that would be a great compliment to a strong team to further raise the bar. This is a sport UW can absolutely excel in and one that, to a large degree, can be built around Wyoming high school talent. Hopefully Branch is getting the support he needs.
