For most of you that attended the Wyoming – ND game this past Saturday, you came away disappointed with the outcome and more importantly the performance of the Pokes. I for one wasn’t surprised at the outcome as there were 10-15 Freshman on the field at different points of the game. These kids had their eyes opened to the D1 level game, fast and intense. Was I disappointed yes, discouraged, no. Bohl is installing a program that will take a few years to implement. One that is hard nose smash mouth football, won in the trenches. Cultural changes do not happen overnight. The players who left in the spring didn’t come as a surprise as Bohl is setting a new level of expectation. I like the direction and believe a few years from now we will be pleased with the outcomes. A program that is suited to the University of Wyoming…one that is Cowboy Tough.
