After taking the first set 25-18, Cowgirls fell in 2nd set 25-22. SJSU led 12-9 in 2nd set. UW rallied to lead 20-18 but SJ took 4 straight points and closed out the match on a 7-2 run.
Cowgirls have lost to ranked Kansas, Sheep St and to Gonzaga who is gathering votes in national poll. Not bad losses but the loss at Nevada really hurts and if UW falls at SJSU, their NCAA chances take a big hit
A wild 3rd set. Cowgirls fell behind 7-0 then 16-9 before tying the match at 16. The 2 teams battled with each other before UW won.
All SJSU in the 4th set 25-14.
Cowgirls fell behind before rallying to lead 14-13 but SJ took the next 3 points to win 16-14.
A very disastrous road trip this week and with matches at Boise and Utah State next week, the outlook is grim right now for making the NCAA'S. Cowgirls fall to 5-3 in league play and 15-5 overall. They should not receive any votes in next week's VB poll
