After picking up a commitment from one wide receiver this week, the Wyoming Cowboys have also offered a scholarship to another wideout prospect in Rashad Scott.
The 6-foot-1, 190-pound LeMesa (Calif.) product holds eight scholarship offers and seems interested in Wyoming.
“I know Wyoming beat the back-to-back champs of the Mountain West last year and I have talked to (Wyoming Defensive Ends Coach) AJ Cooper,” Scott said. “We discussed all the things about Wyoming that are different from San Diego and the real reasons I would want to go there.”
Scott, who attends Helix Charter High School, said he is currently speaking with Boise State and Montana, while Wyoming, San Diego State, Fresno State, UNLV, Hawaii, Utah State, BYU and San Jose State have offered scholarships.
For now, Scott hopes to attend some Junior Days, camps and begin to focus on winning a state title. He said he hopes to find a program that will spark a new chapter in his life and is a winning program.
