Its been a while since I've been on the board. The passing away of Mrs. Bassbone was hard on the family. Maybe this year I might play in the Alumni Band at Homecoming again. I've played trombone with them on and off since 1980. I never went to UW but both of our kids and a grandkid graduated from there, so I paid my dues. And yes, although I'm "retired," I'm still playing the horn. And gee, in the CJC golf tourny in Casper I actually put a couple of 50 yard chips on the green! I never did that before. Never to old to have fun. Sometimes I get lucky. But having been on the board since Slider, I guess I'm an oldster.
