Last night's game was so frustrating to watch. Pokes obviously didn't play well and it's tough to win any game when only two guys can score but it's tough to score when it at time it looked like a rugby scrum out there. Adams should of fouled out 3 guys by himself and Nance got hacked all night. The block call on Adam's dunk attempt was hysterically awful. Not saying the refs cost us the game but the officiating has to get better or new rules need to be implemented to eliminate what I'm seeing every night.
Also, there has to be a better way to select the NCAA Tournament field. Murray State is going to get hosed while Indiana, Illinois, Stanford, and those of that ilk can finish middle of their conference and our locks to make the tournament; or Boise State is crushing the MW and is a Bubble Team? WTF? Or you got schools that figured out how to rig the RPI that cruise along because of some magical fabricated number but can't beat anyone good. And then my favorite argument used against schools with low SOS. They TV analysts yell and scream "that team can't get into the tournament because they didn't play anyone" which I heard is the reason why Murray State, which one 25 games in a row and lost on a fluke 3 pointer at the buzzer in its tournament, can't get in to the tournament. Yet, do you think Murray State or Wyoming can get anyone to play them without having to either pay a king's ransom to get them to play at home or do a ridiculous 3 for 1 agreement. If the NCAA is going to continue to use SOS as a factor in selection then it must make Power 5 teams play Murray State, Wyoming, Belmont, et al. Plus, right now the way the system is set up there is no incentive for a Power 5 team to go on the road and play the Murray States.
My rant for the day. See you Poke fans in Vegas.
