Just got finished watching his press conference and he was as animated as I have ever seen him. There were no comments about "little league coaches", or anything like that. He accepted responsibility fully for what happened this year and admitted that the offense was not up to par especially the passing game. The word he used for the offense during the Boise St. game was "abysmal" and even said something to fashion that was being generous.

While I am still not a fan of Vigen, I am a realist and understand the situation there so I won't go into that any further. He talked long and hard about how they need to get better at passing including their mechanics, and that was all the QB's, and he made the comment that even Sean's completion percentage wasn't what it should be. He also went on and talked about how he was going to have deep evaluations and discussions with his coaches. He said that Wyoming was not going to change what their core being is, and that is a power football team, but within that they HAVE TO get better at what they are doing.

He was asked about if the players that have opted out will be coming back and his response was that they are still under a Covid protocol and he has not had any discussions with any of those players. He also talked about 2021 starts now and that means the bar is going to be raised as to expectations for the players and that means that any player that thinks things are fine now and are not willing to commit to getting better will probably not be happy when the expectations are raised. I am taking from this that there might be a few players that will not want to commit to the program and won't be around. He was asked about the seniors on the squad, and while he didn't get into specifics, he did say that a majority of them want to return.

Bohl added that he has a fire burning in his heart to get better. I was ready to put the old pads on myself at the end of the press conference! I felt better after watching the press conference.

On a different note, he did address alittle and that was to remember when you are making comments about these guys, remember that they are student athletes. It is okay to criticize him, but remember when and if you talk about the players. I think that this is a really good point. I don't have any idea who would be a low life enough to go after Levi. Frankly I hope that they track the person down and humiliate him/her. I don't think that it would anyone on this forum. We may get heated but wishing death against a young man who is a student athlete is criminal and should be treated that way.
