Wyoming basketball received their second commitment of the week after four players visited the previous weekend to checkout the Laramie campus.
6-foot-10 and 220 pound forward Andrew Moemeka's verbal to UW head coach Larry Shyatt's staff with one of his own.
"Excited to say that I've verbally committed to the University of Wyoming," said Naughton following his commitment.
The first commitment of the Cowboys 2015 class in Denver area point guard Austin Conway made a trip up to Laramie to help recruit his future teammates in Naughton, Moemeka, and prospects Justin James and Eric Turner.
While Naughton and Moemeka are on board with Shyatt's program, James and Turner remain in the mix after the entire group toured the UW campus together.
James announced this week he has narrowed his top three choices to Wyoming, Mississippi State and Florida Gulf Coast.
"It went really good," James said of his visit. "I like it a lot. It was a beautiful campus. The visit definitely went better than I thought it would."
"That is something my parents and I need to talk about now," he added. "I need to do a lot more thinking about college. I am going to take my official visit on August 30th to Mississippi State, then I am done with officials."
Naughton is coached in high school by Dave Kleckner, a previous assistant to former UW head coach Jim Brandenburg back in the 1990's at San Diego State.
Naughton is an athletic big man with long arms that is a natural rebounder, and good movement and touch around the rim.
He brings the Pokes another big body to build for the future. Shyatt's staff is beginning to stockpile big interior players in the UW program.
The Cowboys have three of their four scholarships filled for 2015's class and could sign two, if both James and Turner decide to attend Wyoming.
