This team of Provos had a team that looked like they could play nine deep with the depth on there team and they really looked 2 to 3 years older than the Ole Miss Rebel team.

Many of you guys would have remembered Haws on there team, he was a regular 18 year old recruit(some six Years ago) when he came to play with the cougars as frosh.

Haws looked just like your every day young man and hung around the team until the young man qained a lot of maturity..
.
They had released him on a mission where he physically matured and you could see it in his looks and how they handle themselves as they realize they are playing with younger men than there are. They know the advantage that the two years does for there boys mentally and physically.

At some point they start to feel they definitely, will gain there talented play back. Haws sure looked like he was back and in pretty good form There guys are good and soon will put it back together. I think they realize they do have an advantage. and hey, they want to play ball and here they come playing hard every dribble drive.

I think the players notice that they are ready to get after it. and they forgot that they have gained strength and a cool with growing up. I think the BYU players think its an advantage over the reguarlar men that are playing at a lower level having to play not quite as mature as they are. The other players in NCAA ball can deal with the age issue know, we have done it for 50 years and we are sick and tired of it. BYU know its not fair and they should change this rule to show some willingness to be fair. I really believe that. But, for know I am sure glad they are gone from our league. Later men,

Terry Willis I played against older BYU player and I know it was a difference and it was wrong.
