The discussion on the QB decommit from Norther Illinois signing with the Pokes made me think back to the 2016 season:
Bohl's 3rd season: Wyoming was coming out of a 2-10 prior season in 2015 . That following year, not too long ago in our memories when NIU came to Laramie the pregame comment about NIU was that they were a great program. It appeared that the fortunes would start to change that morning at 2:30 a.m. thanks to #17.
I did however think that we would be further ahead of the curve by now, but if it is year 8 then so be it and a more than strong foundation exists and MWC championships are on the radar. If we have that "special year" in 2021 i think we see Coach Bohl for a 5 year run. If we don't see that 9-11 win season in 2021, then I believe that par for the Cowboys will be 6-8 wins going forward with Coach Bohl retiring in a couple of years .
