In 2006 we lost in overtime to SDSU in the championship game of the MWC tournament. Since 2006 SDSU made 3 straight NIT's and now 6 straight NCAA tournaments, including 2 Sweet Sixteens. UW on the other hand has made 4 CBI's.
Hopefully those stats flip in the next 9 years. I honestly think they could. Fisher looked old and tired in the post-game conference. I suspect his best coaching days are behind him.
