Wyoming football added their name to a long list of offers for Jaron Waters, a 6-foot-3 and 185 pound prospect from Oxnard (Cali.). Waters looks to be a good candidate to play either side of the ball in college, as a wide receiver or defensive back. The Pokes could be recruiting him as a wide receiver.
Waters has 15 offers to-date including Wyoming, Oregon, Arizona State, Colorado State, Fresno State, Nevada, Hawaii, San Diego State, Washington State, and Utah.
Waters recruitment blew up a few months ago and now it's time to let the process play out with his meteoric rise as a 2019 prospect.
“Recruiting is going very well. I have had a lot of colleges interested in me,” Waters said to Rivals.com. "I have a top five in mind."
The Oxnard High School product produced 20 receptions for 563 yards with 11 touchdowns during his junior season and added two interceptions from his secondary spot. He runs a 4.64 40-yard dash and 36 inch vertical jump.
