Wyoming offered Los Angeles area athlete Isaiah Abdullah in October and he visited Laramie in early December before committing on the second of this month to the Cowboys.

Abdullah plays at Wilson High School and handled multiple duties catching, running, and throwing the football, while playing outside linebacker on defense. He received two FBS offers from Wyoming and New Mexico.

The 6-foot-3 and 195 prospect is a possibility at wide receiver for the Pokes. He has a tall frame with a chance to add more size and strength to his longer built. The Cowboys would like the ability add a big play element to their offense with his athleticism, though his defensive production is also intriguing.

The 2019 prospect caught 41 passes for 636 yards and five touchdowns during his senior season. He also rushed 78 times for 444 yards and registered 81 tackles, eight quarterback sacks, three forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and one interception.

Abdullah was his conference's Defensive MVP in the Northern League tallying the dominate numbers on the defensive side of the ball. He was selected to participate in the 13th annual Offense-Defense All-American Bowl on the week of Dec. 26-31 in Daytona Beach, Florida.
